alGOma WILD art escapes
is a collaborative venture by three women who love art and the wilderness, and want to offer other artists a unique opportunity to share and develop their skills in the spectacular wilderness setting of the Algoma District.  Come and practice your art among the rugged landscapes, pristine lakes, spectacular waterfalls, stately pines and brilliant colours that inspired the Group of Seven
Gillian Lloyd, along with her husband Mike Allen, is the owner of Kegos Camp, a  cottage resort on the shores of  Chub Lake in the beautiful Misssissagi Valley. The picturesque log and pine cottages provide comfortable accommodation and lakeside relaxation for Algoma Wild Art Escape guests. From the time of your arrival at Kegos Camp and throughout your Art Escape experience, Gillian is fully devoted, as your hostess and guide, to ensuring that your  stay is an unforgettable experience.

Diana Blazek is a multimedia artist who is well recognized for her outstanding work  and her inspired and inspiring instruction. The attractive log home built by Diana and her partner Ian Niemi on the shores of Jobamageeshig Lake is also the studio where she creates stunning works in a variety of media. This beautiful setting is also a location for studio instruction and  meals for Algoma Wild Art Escapes.  Diana is our in-house instructor; in the studio or en plein air Diana provides skilled workshop instruction for Algoma Wild Art Escapes participants in an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere.
Ginny Post is the owner of Art, Tarts, and Tea, an art gallery and tea garden  on a small farm nestled in the Penokean hills.  Here Ginny and her husband Sandy have built a beautiful log home surrounded by delightful flower gardens, which makes another wonderful setting for studio work and meals for our Art Escapes.  Ginny is an inspired cook and produces the delicious meals that are part of the Algoma Wild Art Escapes experience.
